Patna Is A First District Unit Of NIC In Bihar. NIC Patna District Unit Has Been Started There Operation Since 18 Jan 1989.                            
NIC District Unit Provides Services
To The User Departments Through A Number Of Application Divisions. This Unit Is Responsible For Conducting Feasibility Studies In the User Departments , Creating Appropriate Information Systems for Providing Awareness On The Usages of Computer As A Tool For Decision Support And Developing Management InformationSystems.

These Divisions Are Organized Around The Following Sectors:
